Why it matters
Vacqueen's feeder can be set up with one, two or three bowls, making it one of the few that feeds three cats at once. Portions run from 1 to 20 servings per meal.
The 6 L hopper holds up to 25 cups of dry food. Dual desiccants with a color indicator show when to replace them, and an anti-jam mechanism keeps food moving. The app works on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and AA backup batteries give up to 7 days during outages.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Three-cat homes
- Owners who want app control
- Long absences
Look elsewhere if
- Cats on different diets
- Wet food
- Food stealers
Pros and cons
Pros
- Up to 3 bowls
- 6 L hopper
- Desiccant indicator
Cons
- No per-cat control
- 2.4 GHz only

Limitations to weigh
- Check your kibble size against the maker's stated range; oversized or oily kibble is the usual cause of jams.
- Fit the backup batteries; on most feeders Wi-Fi features pause on battery power, but scheduled meals continue.
